Stinking Tobacco and One Silver Dollar (Year Unknown) In the old Stake Academy at eleven o'clock each day they held a devotional period. One cold day Art Freeman came in and poured about half a sack of Bull Durham on the old drum heating stove. When Silas Fish came in his nose went in the air. He made some kind of an awful sound through his nose and headed for the stand. He yelled out, "It will be worth one shiny silver dollar to anyone who will tell me who put that stinking tobacco on the stove so that they can be expelled from this institution of learning." Nobody ever got the dollar cause nobody would talk. By John Ballard .
